I don't want to completely shock everyone, but I'm tired of keeping secrets. How would you recommend coming out & telling everyone I'm dating as well? This is Kat:) for the record. But if you’re honestly happy with your LD relationship, and you’re absolutely certain you’re ready, I would come out to those closest first Ex:best friends,then when you’re ready just mention it to your parents, I know that knot in your stomach people get when coming out, but when you think of it it’s not something thats so horrible you’re confessing that you’re different. Not to bank robbery, I would mention to your parents that you found someone, that you’re extremely happy with when they ask give them the girls name. It happens, Embrace it. I came out Sophomore year, I was terrified and only told 3 people and slowly it became more known once I got good reactions, I told my parents and they were shocked. My dad threatened to murder me! But it’s because he’s involved in church, but now he loves me, and loves my fiance. Things change over time. Even if it doesn’t go so well maybe they’ll warm up to it. But atleast you can finally be YOU! |
